SILENT is a 35-minute sound performance that takes place in a public space. The audience members are connected as a group by audio navigation through headphones. One voice follows another, and the joint vocal symphony is followed by reactive movement. A shared landscape of thoughts and physical responses is created. SILENT is a response to the Covid-19 pandemic, its impact on public space, on closed borders and the inability to travel, and on the exposed vulnerabilities of our bodies. How do we, as individuals in such a world, connect with each other? What does the body remember and what does it forget? Can we create new bonds? Can we experience closeness in such a world? How have our bodies changed during this time? The body in the lead role – in the space between loneliness and sharing. Explore a new experience with us!
The performance takes place with headphones, which will be available for everyone to borrow on-site.

Director Petra Tejnorová founded the group Sgt. Tejnorová & The Commando, while dancer and choreographer Tereza Ondrová was the co-founder and performer of the dance ensemble VerTeDance. These creative groups no longer exist. Everything is ephemeral. Both artists’ passion for connecting and bridging different genres and disciplines culminated in the creation of a new creative platform, Temporary Collective. Temporary Collective is a living, changing creative organism. At its core is producer Daniela Řeháková and currently also includes photographer Marek Bartoš, musician and visual artist Dominik Žižka, and producer Júlia Pecková. Temporary Collective focuses on exploring different spaces and media.
Temporary Collective is not based on permanence, on a permanent space, on one theatre, on one permanent place. On the contrary, it creates its identity through a diversity of connections and places where theatre and dance can unfold. This variability is also linked to updates in the composition of the creative team. Temporary Collective enjoys changing structures and reacting to experimental forms which – only after that – it develops. Temporary Collective enjoys various rhythms – some of its projects are long-term and other ones are just a short series of events. Creation and destruction. Premiere and derniere.
