For thousands of generations, human beings have considered themselves part of the broader community of nature, cultivating active relationships with other humans, animals, plants, and other natural phenomena, including the landscape and the weather, which we have only recently begun to regard as inanimate and soulless.
How much work is it for a man to cut down a tree and split it into logs and kindling?
But where will the hare, the squirrel, and the dormouse find shelter while the loggers plunder their homes?
Love of nature at a time of increasing consumption of barbecue briquettes.
Physical theatre with dance, live music, and strong streams of light that carries on from the performance of THE DEEP and the animated installation WISDOM.
The performance will feature leading Czech and international performers, dancers, and members of the Wariot Ideal group.
The creative group Wariot Ideal was founded in 2009 based on a long-standing collaboration between Vojta Švejda, Jan Kalivoda, and Jan Dörner. The result is several significant alternative Czech projects. The artists are active in many artistic genres, including theatre and film, sound, music, lighting design, and artwork exhibitions. They seek new possibilities in artistic expression, presenting unique comedic works reflecting the current events of our lives and times. They regularly stage performances in Prague and other Czech cities and abroad.
