Kosmos – Art workshop for children!
Jakost + Aeroškola
- Sunday Sep 12 / 16:00, School
Prior reservations required: tutuali@gmail.com
Physicist Tomasz Rożek’s book Kosmos is full of interesting information as well as instructions for experiments that kids can easily do at home in the kitchen so that they can try out some of the laws of the universe. The Jakost publishing house has chosen one such experiment especially for this workshop that the workshops’ participants will try out. Guided by instructors from the Aeroškola film school, the kids will also film the whole experiment to create a set of how-to instructions.
Jakost is a publishing house focused on non-fiction books for kids ages eight and up. Its titles include a Czech translation of the excellent Polish series S.E.R.I.E. and Ondřej Dušek and Karolina Jirkalová’s K čemu jsou architekti (What Are Architects Good For?). Its most recent publication is Plasticus Maritimus: An Invasive Species by the Portuguese author Ana Pêgo.
Maximum number of children at the workshop is 10.
Duration of the workshop: 2.5 hours.
