D/ Dominique Porte "No. 1 7 drops and little bit more" Choreography No.1 was inspired by the art of Chinese calligraphy, in an attempt to "find the hidden meanings of things" The organisation of the micro society that she creates onstage bears a strong resemblance to the insect world: organic, impulsive. French choreograph Domininique Porte lives and works in Montreal, she has been seen in works of Maria Chouinard or José Navas. "Using words as inspiration, she moves with impeccable precision and clarity, embroidering with such complexity and speed that the eye cannot take in all her movements."
