Places of Act – Use Your Public Space
Places of Act is a long-term international project by the Four Days association with the aim of revitalizing public space through art. The project’s goal is to change our relationship and attitude to certain places and to reshape the emotional landscape of public space. We consider artistic interventions to be one possible way of sharing public space while at the same time creating it.
We addressed many different artists, asking them to introduce the public to the former Center of Folk Art Production building. Their task: window displays as internal and external public space, Národní třída as folk art, 100 headsets as a way of instilling a sense of intimacy in public.
