Ondřej David Company
BORN ON NÁRODNÍ is an impromptu compilation of a Burianesque voice band, opera, action poetry – Ondřej David’s original method of examining the relationship between onomatopoeic text and movement – and expressive physical theatre. A trio of actors, known from last year’s project INTO PARADISE, together with an opera singer will attempt to summon the ghost of the glass house on Národní třída with the help of voices and bodies.
Ondřej David, director, scriptwriter, action poet. He devotes himself mainly to authorial forms of theatre. He often fulfils the role of performer and set designer. He likes to work out on the thin ice of experimentation, and he combines word, movement, image, and song with a gentle brutality.
