Authors grouped around Fra publishing house and café will read poetry and prose on embroidery, the Czech landscape, and the human spirit.

Performers:
Masha, the straw poetess; Jakub Řehák made his literary debut in 2008 with the collection Světla mezi prkny (The Light in the Cracks); nominated for the Jiří Orten Prize and the Magnesia Litera Prize for poetry); Jonáš Hájek, winner of the Jiří Orten Prize, published his second collection of poems this year in Vlastivěda (Homeland Study); Petr Borkovec's most recent book was a collection of short prose and writings titled Berlínský sešit/Zápisky ze Saint-Nazaire (Berlin Notebook/Notes from Saint-Nazaire, 2008). Winner of the Jiří Orten Prize, the Norbert C. Kaser Prize, and more, Jana Šrámková is the author of the novel Hruškadóttir (Peardóttir), 2008), which won the Jiří Orten Prize; Petr Hruška's most recent publication was a collection titled Auta vjíždějí do lodí (Cars Embarking a Boat), 2007, and he is the winner of the Dresden Prize for poetry; Tomáš Weiss's most recent collection of poetry is titled Neděle sv. Snipera (Holy Sniper's Sunday), 2009.
Fra Publishing House has been publishing original Czech and translated literature since 2001 in publishing series devoted to Czech and world poetry, Czech and world prose, human rights and literature, film and theatre, texts, edition 8 (the Czech mutation of the edition Que sais-je?), the theory of visual culture, and illustrated children's books.
