Jan Bárta (Czech Republic) – Halka Třešňáková (Czech Republic) – Milou Veling (the Netherlands)
Is this about paradise? ...not exactly
This premiere production by the Czech-Dutch trio Třešňáková-Bárta-Veling deals with the theme of self-assessment, the construction of one's social and professional image. The artists drew inspiration from the manner of communication in the current environment of the theatre community and their observations led them to the following conclusions: 'If you want to succeed, look polite, kind, sympathetic, ask about problems, embrace everyone, but don't get over-involved. Build an elite inaccessible image for yourself!' We all long for paradise, but paradise is just for the innocent.
