What does the vow “I shall love and cherish Thee ’til the end” really stand for? Until death? Until the end of love? Or rather until the warranty of a fitted kitchen runs out? Is faithfulness after 20 years to be seen as festivity, esteem or domestic jail?
This social dramatic cabaret inspired by Ingmar Bergman’s “Scenes from a Marriage” is trying to find answers to what we initially sought after and what we have been actually left with.

The theatre company STAGE CODE was founded by Daniela Voráčková and Philipp Schenker in Prague in 1999. The company cooperates with artists both from the Czech Republic and abroad on projects spanning various theatre genres which often reflect latest social and cultural events with a peculiar sense of humour, aiming to confront the company members’ own life experience with that of the audience.
