Richard Wiesner - Videomobil
a new socio-political project by a conceptual artist
A project of a mobile multimedia object independent of stone galleries. This is a clear variant of street art, i.e. art in close co-existence with a city's structure and reality. The video mobile project communicates directly on location and thus reacts to the current stimuli concerning political and cultural events or only notices simple banal situations and places them in a given area in direct confrontation with the environment in which they were created or found.
The video mobile is an object that conceals within itself audio and video technology. It is placed on the roof of a car that is used as a means for overcoming distances and for transportation to a given place. The Video Mobile project maintains the temporal independence of input and intervention. You might come across it anywhere during a festival.
