TOW/ Petra Hauerová (CZ) Theory - first night
A long-awaited multimedia project of a choreographer, a Sazka Award winner in 2004. She significantly applies procedures of laser technology in the field of contemporary dance.
Petra Hauerová (1970) graduated from a Duncan Centre conservatory and internships in London and Amsterdam. She created a series of artistic-motional works that draw the attention of professionals of Trans Danse Europe. She became the Czech representative of this international project with her Nightmare (2004) work. Another important project based on laser usage was Turning Machine choreography (2006) which originated in co-production with multimedia artists in the TOW group. Hauerová collaborated with the “Staute, space, installation, conceptual tendencies” studio at AVU in Prague and she teaches at Duncan Centre.
