In an art community, mutually painted pictures are an accessory of collective stay in studios, an extension of personal relationships among the authors. These are mostly mockeries of low quality; they have an irreplaceable private value for participants. They very rarely surpass their fate and people began to consider them a valuable medium. They are often repainted or destroyed as useless mutual playful objects lacking coherent identity and respect. On the contrary, the BGHPS project wants it as a starting point and lets out respect, dissolves identity and egocentrism of authors in one synergic and crazy notice on a board. Big Gruppen Hybrid Painting session invites the artistic community in its widest range and provides capacity for an origin of a vast collective painting. There is no curatorship point of view but it is “only” about calling in and making as many various personalities of artistic field to create mutual and unique production of a common picture.
The initial conditions: a white wall, colors and no rules create primitive and archetypal situation. We await that a crazy but unique mockery will originate and it will be very difficult to look at it. A collective “work” by 50 artists should come into life during one week within the framework of the interdisciplinary festival.
