AYDIN TEKER (TR) “harS” The choreographer Aydin Teker deals with the exploration of body extension. A conventional image of a harp as a static, double-dimensional instrument and its sculptural beauty is transformed by the choreographer in the cooperation with a dancer, former harp player, into new quality based on the appearance of a body and creative utilization of an object. Magical symbiosis, unexpected geometric, sonic and space association originate in the dialogue of a body and a harp. A harp represents a territory of discoveries and constantly modifying forms. A viewer can observe hallucinogenic chimera images of a body uniting with a great massif where tension and control is always involved.
