Come and Have a Real Beer at a Simulated Festival.

An immersive dive into the past: The Open Air Program festival in Hradec Králové, the square known as Kavčí Plácek, the Vosto5 military tent, summer 2009. The day on which Michael Jackson died and the world was never the same – come and have a real beer at a simulated festival.

After taking a creative sabbatical, the guys from Vosto5 are back on stage, meaning back in the world. Taking a look back at their past creations, they describe a long arch through history, politics, and the universe. Time to reflect on where we have been and where we are now. Time to identify the core of the original joy we feel from acting, to find the shem of our own poetics and the reason for theater joy.

Working with a text by the renowned playwright and expert on modeling pandemic situations René Levínský and with the younger (by a generation) actors of the Zapětdvanáct (11:55) ensemble, Vosto5 steps onto the thin ice of ancient connotations, personal testimony, and getting all emotional over oneself.
