Erik Sikora: Tiles with Waterfall
intervention during the opening

Light boxes, jukeboxes, a bar in the shape of a disco ball, live music, dancing and slightly theatrical gazes in the mirror will be multiplied by the dreamily kitschy feeling of the transformation of the colossal casino lying dormant across the street from the Law Faculty and the legendary Hotel Intercontinental. A photographic intervention, aided by lightweight light boxes, will invigorate (with some exaggeration) the cocktail that is 4+4 Days in Motion. Nighttime pedestrians will receive a taste of pop and a life-giving glow from the light boxes by Daniela Deutelbaum, Silvia Milková and Tomáš Souček, who will delight not only pedestrians, cyclists and motorists, but also anyone waiting at the nearby tram stop.

Erik Sikora: Tiles with Waterfall
Intervention by Erik Sikora: “I live a story about tiles and a waterfall. It is a story about which photographs are best suited for placing in the bathroom. I want to live as honorably as possible and examine all options. Looking for the most beautiful photograph, versus the artistic self-gratification of searching for a more intelligent – or most artistic – possibility. Would it be the most embarrassing thing in the world to put Duchamp’s urinal above the tub? You just have to try it out.”

Held as part of the second annual Fotograf Festival, “Off Limits”. The exhibition of works by Jan J. Kotík and Z. Baladrán is being held as part the second annual Fotograf Festival, entitled Mimo formát / Off Limits.
