 23^rd international of contemporary art 4+4 Days in Motion takes place from 5^th to 13^th October 2018 in Prague. More than 50 contemporary artists will revive the Desfours Palace at Florenc with the main exhibition project of Places of Act with the topic of Uncertainty Principle. The theatre program is located in Archa Theatre, Ponec and Centre for Contemporary Art DOX. The festival offers nine foreign and four Czech premieres. Visitors can also enjoy site-specific performances, discussions about current topics, videoart, art bookstore and a stylish bar with DJs.

This year’s 23^rd edition of 4+4 Days in Motion, the festival of contemporary art, will feature nine premieres from foreign companies and four Czech ones. The festival will open with the award-winning company Motus from Italy on Friday, October 5 in the Archa Theatre. MDLSX stands for a psychedelic one-woman show by eccentric actress Silvia Calderoni. Syrian choreographer Mithkal Alzghair will present the Czech premiere of his performance Displacement about running away as saving the life as well as losing the possibility to return. In her documentary History History History, British artist Deborah Pearson will have a look at one of the biggest 20^th century refugee crises. Visitors to the festival will also have a chance to see Czech premieres of Wariot Ideal company, SecondHand Women company, Barbora Kleinhamplová’s and Tereza Stejskalová’s site-specific project and Jan Mocek’s premiere of Fatherland. The exhibition part of the festival called Uncertainty Principle will be located in Desfours Palace at Florenc from 5^th to 13^th October.

The 23^rd international festival of contemporary art 4+4 Days in Motion takes place from 5^th to 13^th October 2018 at several places in Prague. It has been a tradition that the main focus is the abandoned building in the center of the capital: it is the Desfours Palace at Florenc this year.
