Do You Have a Knack for Art?
Accompanying program for the exhibition
The Independent Research of Subjectivity
3. – 7. 10. for schools
Thanks to the “Do You Have a Knack for Art?” program, students at primary and secondary schools can put their creative abilities and interests into practice, share their views on art, or just explore working together. They also learn about galleries and the contemporary art scene.
This is the second year that Four Days in Motion is offering this accompanying program. Thanks to last year’s great success, from Monday 3 October to Friday 7 October 2016 we are again offering guided tours and art workshops. During this working week the program will adapt to your needs, and details can be arranged personally. However, tour capacity is limited, so please reserve your space at tel. or via e-mail /will be announced/.
Come and check out an exceptional historical object and genuine contemporary art!
Do You Have a Knack for Art? (“Máš umělecké střevo?”) organizes art seminars and workshops in collaboration with galleries, festivals, one-off events, or invited artists. The goal of the workshops is to present contemporary art to the public and to encourage active dialogue between artists and event organizers and participants.
Past workshops have been led by artists such as David Böhm, Jiří Franta, VJ Kolouch, Martin Búřil, Veronika Vlková, and Vladimír 518.
Other activities of Do You Have a Knack for Art? include the “Vyfoť Čerňák!” (“Capture Čerňák!”) project organized in collaboration with the Fotograf Festival and the Plechárna community center in Prague’s Černý Most neighborhood, plus workshops at the DOX Centre for Contemporary Art, the Moravian Gallery in Brno, and the National Gallery in Prague.
