Advertising flag as a vehicle of other meanings. What guides our movements through the city? Is it the result of free will, or are we merely following a predetermined way of thinking dictated by the system and our upbringing?
Markéta Kinterová is a photographer and artist. She approaches the medium of photography from a variety of perspectives. In her work, Kinterová combines photographic foundations with conceptual elements and site-specific interventions. She has participated in numerous exhibitions both in the Czech Republic and abroad. Since 2016, she has led the documentary photography studio at FAMU. She is the editor-in-chief of Fotograf magazine and the artistic director of the association of the same name, which operates the Fotograf Gallery and the Fotograf Festival. She is the artistic director of Fotograf Contemporary, where she provides professional oversight and curates the portfolio of the artists represented by the gallery.
