5th annual Věra Jirousová Award ceremony

The Věra Jirousová Award is presented to young beginning and established art critics. Its aim is to highlight this important (and in the Czech Republic poorly understood) discipline, to support beginning critics, and to help them find opportunities for publishing their writing. At the same time, the awards hope to call attention to work by authors who have been active as art critics for some time and have helped to shape our country’s cultural environment.
