Saturday Oct 3 / 14.00 – 16.00, Desfours Palace
/ meet: Na Florenci 21, Prague 1
The Desfours Palace was built in 1845 in the immediate vicinity of Těšnov Station. The palace once had a garden, a conservatory, and a western wing that was demolished in order to build “Rudé Právo.” The wall decoration, which dates to the time of the building’s construction, is one of the most important works of Czech mural painting of the mid-19th century. During the 4+4 Days in Motion festival, the entire building will be open to the public and will present several curated exhibitions of contemporary art.
