Destined to be a must-see spectacle! The legendary “one-oh-fives” (loosely translated, “Vosto5” means “Give it 105%”) offer their own playful interpretation of Czech history. Against a backdrop of real historical events, they present the story of a fictitious resistance group, a kind of Czech League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. The title character of this premiere performance is a mythical Czech superhero from the Second World War. Like a true comic-book hero, our protagonist can jump over tall buildings. Using the springs on his feet, he bounds through Prague’s streets in order to defeat the fascist occupiers.
The inspiring tale of Spring-Boy is more than a humorous take on history – it is a true theatrical spectacle combining elements of new circus with martial arts and extreme sports in order to create a unique performance containing Vosto5’s typical word play.
