Jiří Franta and David Böhm organize performances, shoot videos, create art installations, engage in public interventions, paint murals, and are the authors of book and magazine illustrations. Their art can resemble an illustrated diary, graffiti, caricature, comics, conceptual art, grotesque, athletic performance, artistic collaboration, physical experimentation, improvised choreography, or theater performance. They are interested in process, the long-term perspective, overcoming obstacles, intermedia, experimentation, respecting and breaking rules, creative dialogue, irony, seriousness, playfulness, and eternal imperfection.
In other words, Jiří Franta and David Böhm do not make drawings, but they draw. They have been working together since 2006.
