A children’s animation workshop inspired by the book H.O.U.S.E.

/ Festival program 2015, Workshop
  • Saturday Oct 10 / 15:00, Desfours Palace

During the workshop, the children and instructors will try to figure out the meaning of the word home, describe what their home looks like, what the surrounding houses look like, what makes up a street, why some things are called cities and some villages, and what a house would look like that was created and designed all by themselves. The children will create a short animated film in which their house comes to life with people and stories.

H.O.U.S.E. is a guide to 35 houses from around the world. The book is intended for children, their parents, and their grandparents. The book’s authors are graphic artists and illustrators Aleksandra Mizielinska and Daniel Mizielinski. The book was published in English in 2012. For more information, visit www.domek-knizka.cz.

The workshops are organized in collaboration with the Aeroškola school (www.aeroskola.cz) and are led by the school’s instructors.

Suitable for children aged 7–15.
